Description: Brewed with freshly picked elderflowers from the hedges around the Brewery and the fields of Cheriton, our Elder Ale is a seasonal summer favourite.
Picked early on a Sunday morning by Emily and Katie on horseback, the elderflowers were added to the brew straightaway along with the First Gold, Celeia and Simcoe hops. The low colour malted barley produces a lightly coloured refreshing and fragrant cask ale. We only brew Elder Ale when the elderflowers are at their best in early June.
